Knight Time is also being published in a new smaller hardback format with a cuddly Little Dragon for Christmas 2012. A new friend for Percy Pig?!
I am currently working on a new picture book with Random which is taking me off in a very different direction. You could definitely describe the style as mixed media-ink,watercolour,gouache,felt tip pens, coloured pencil, wax crayon.....my desk has been very untidy these last couple of months!
On the theme of Knight Time...I have been asked along with the author Jane Clarke to do a workshop in London for the SCBWI in early 2013 talking about how we created the story and characters for the book. Hope you can make it. I will give more details nearer the time.

I was busy painting bunnies and kittens earlier this year! I love Rabbits and I love Kittens published by Caterpillar Books are due for publication in January 2013.

Sneak Peek!

Phewww! I have just finished the artwork for a series of 4 educational books and the client has kindly allowed me to give you a sneak peek. I am now working on a very exciting book which is taking me in another direction completely but I am under strict orders to keep this one firmly under wraps.

I just received copies of a cover artwork that I worked on a few months ago. The brief was to show a busy morning focusing on the school run. This book of songs is published by A & C Black.

My blog has been a little neglected over the summer as I have been flat out artworking the sequel to Knight Time. Knight School is due to be published in 2012.

I have finally updated my page on childrensillustrators.com this week. It has been on my To Do List for far too long! I have now added many of my published books.

Kiss! and Giggle!

Published by Campbell Books

Kiss! and Giggle! are being published in the UK in May. The books are also going to be available in Taiwan, Greece and South Africa.

This is my 5th project with Campbell Books. I first worked with Campbell in 2004 on The Sparkly Christmas series of Board Books. I also worked on the Buggy Buddy Series. You can see some more of my published books here.

Campbell Books

Even though I produced this series of 4 board books in 2004 it is still one of my favourite projects. The books were first published by Campbell as Jigsaw Books and also as a large format book for Ted Smart. The books were reissued as a mini box set for Christmas 2009.

The Wheels on the Bus

'The Wheels on the Bus' is a box set of 4 board books in a bus shaped carry case.

The set was first published by Campbell Books in 2005.

This little boy is my favourite character from the series.

Details from 'Fun at the Park' and 'Fun at the Zoo'. The themes of the four books are Shopping, the Zoo, the Park and Visiting Gran.
