Happy Holidays in Hove wins second prize!

Papercut artist Rob Ryan was especially taken by runner-up Jane Massey's Happy Holidays in Hove painting of her home town in East Sussex. 'The wide pavement by the sea in Hove is such a lively, jolly place,' he says, 'full of people walking, rollerblading, taking dogs out, cycling, flying kites - and this picture captures that feeling really well.'

I couldn't choose between the top two images so I have decided to include both for this weeks I.F! The illustrations were produced for The Wheels on the Bus box set published by Campbell Books in 2005. The case above opens out to reveal 4 board books.

I popped in to ASDA yesterday and it was great to see that the entire Little Angels range is now in store . The Little Angels Baby that I created with FLB Design appears on the packaging for over 30 products from nappies to teethers.

Do you remember Clackers?! I can still remember the feeling when I caught my knuckles! It has been fun reminiscing about the games of my childhood for this weeks Illustration Friday-so much so that I had to artwork a couple more of my initial ideas.
